Utility Customer Service Application:

Download the application. Complete and bring to the office to start services.

A deposit of $200.00 ($100 water/ $100 Sewer) is required for all new customers. This amount is refundable after 18 months provided the account has been maintained in a current status throughout the period.

Billing:

The City of Dry Ridge will base your sewer usage off the amount of water purchased. Your water meter is read every month and will be bill monthly.

Electronic meter reading will occur on or around the 15th of each month.
Account bills are posted and sent out vial US Mail on the first of each month. Bills are available online on the first of each month.
All accounts are due on the 15th of the month
- If the 15th falls on weekend or holiday, payment will be due the next business day.
- If you have not received your bill by the 5th, please login to your account online. Or call our office for more information.
- All bills are mailed via US Mail and are not guaranteed to be delivered by a certain date. Not receiving a bill does not relieve you of making payment by the due date.

    - Click on “Pay Utilities”
    - In the spot for “Account Number from your Bill” use your customer number found on your bill, and click “Login”
    - It will ask for some information. Once you have done this your account has been created.

- Returned Check Charge:
  - A charge of $35.00 will be accessed for a returned check.
  - Will be treated as non-payment resulting in penalties and services turned off.
  - After two (2) returned checks they will not be accepted for the account.
- Penalties:
  - If not paid by 5pm on due date a ten percent (10%) penalty will be applied to the account.
- Disconnection:
  - If not paid by 5pm seven (7) days after due date the account will be charged $35.00 service fee and will be disconnected.
  - Guaranteed funds (Cash, Money Order, or Credit Card) will only be accepted to reconnect service. If paid online please contact office to verify receipt of payment.

Sewer Rates – Residential
- $45.47 first 2,000 gallons
- $16.19 per 1,000 gallons over 2,000 gallons
Sewer Rates – Commercial
- $64.75 first 2,000 gallons
- $16.19 per 1,000 gallons over 2,000 gallons

Sewer Tap Fees
- Residential
  - $1000 – single family, two-family dwelling, duplexes and two-unit apartment structures
  - $2250 – apartment buildings having 3 to 8 units
  - $2750 – apartment buildings having 9 to 16 units
  - $450 per unit for apartment building having 17 or more units
- Commercial
  - $2250
- Industrial
  - $4250
- Transient-Commercial, Govermental & Residential-type Uses & Facilities for such uses
  - $1250 plus $350 per each room made available for occupancy/use by customers, or expected users of a hotel, motel, or term-occupant, or patient of a hospital, nursing home, or extended care facility, or daycare facility, or each room to be used as a classroom or restroom in and educational building or educational facility
Sewer Capacity Fee
- $1562.50
Utility Tax
- A three percent (3%) utility tax is placed on the water portion of the bill.
Sales Tax
- A six percent (6%) sales tax is placed on commercial accounts.
