Utility Customer Service Application:

Download the application.  Complete and bring to the office to start services.

A deposit of $200.00 ($100 water/ $100 Sewer) is required for all new customers. This amount is refundable after 18 months provided the account has been maintained in a current status throughout the period.


The City of Dry Ridge will read your meter every month and will bill monthly.

  • Electronic meter reading will occur on or around the 15th of each month.
  • Account bills are posted and sent out vial US Mail on the first of each month.  Bills are available online on the first of each month.
  • All accounts are due on the 15th of the month
    • If the 15th falls on weekend or holiday, payment will be due the next business day.
    • If you have not received your bill by the 5th, please login to your account online.  Or call our office for more information.
    • All bills are mailed via US Mail and are not guaranteed to be delivered by a certain date.  Not receiving a bill does not relieve you of making payment by the due date.

        • In the spot for “Account Number from your Bill” use your customer number found on your bill, and click “Login”
        • It will ask for some information. Once you have done this your account has been created.

    • Returned Check Charge:
      • A charge of $35.00 will be accessed for a returned check.
      • Will be treated as non-payment resulting in penalties and services turned off.
      • After two (2) returned checks they will not be accepted for the account.
    • Penalties:
      • If not paid by 5pm on due date a ten percent (10%) penalty will be applied to the account.
    • Disconnection:
      • If not paid by 5pm seven (7) days after due date the account will be charged $35.00 service fee and will be disconnected.
      • Guaranteed funds (Cash, Money Order, or Credit Card) will only be accepted to reconnect service. If paid online please contact office to verify receipt of payment.

 Water Rates and Fees:

  • Water Rates (Residential & Commercial)
    • $26.96 first 2,000 gallons
    • $12.84 per 1,000 gallons between 2,001 & 10,000 gallons
    • $12.40 per 1,000 gallons for anything over 10,001 gallons
  • New Service Deposit
    • $100
  • Water Tap Fees
    • Residential (5/8″ by 3/4″)
      • $1000 plus the cost & charge extraordinary as may be incurred by the city
    • Non-Residential (>5/8″ by 3/4″)
      • $1000 plus all costs & expenses actual & extraordinary
    • Apartment Unit
      • $1000 with costs & expenses extraordinary shall be exacted plus the added charge & fee of $300 per each apartment or apartment unit within the building or structure.
  • Utility Tax
    • A three percent (3%) utility tax is placed on the water portion of the bill.
  • Sales Tax
    • A six percent (6%) sales tax is placed on commercial accounts.
