911 Board

The 911 board was established to oversee the Grant County Emergency Services telephone network.  This board governs the operations and funding for 911 services provided to the citizens of Grant County from landline and wireless phones. The board recommended to repeal the $2.00 911 surcharge on your telephone landline bill in October of 2017.  The Grant County Fiscal Court, at the recommendation of the E-911 Board, placed a parcel 911 fee of $36 on each land parcel in Grant County in October of 2017.  This fee provides the revenue stream to fund 911 services.  The fees collected from wireless phones are not governed by the 911 board, rather the state police through Frankfort.

The 911 board is composed of the following people:

Chairman – Greg Brockman, Dry Ridge Mayor
Vice Chair – Mark Christopher,  Williamstown Mayor
Secretary – Delaney Bishop, Corinth Mayor
Treasurer – Chuck Dills, County Judge Executive
Member – Jim Purcell, Crittenden Mayor
Member – Chris Steward, Captain Kentucky State Police Post 6

Once quarterly the 911 board of directors meet at 9am in the county Judge’s office.  These meetings are open to the public.  Below are the meeting minutes and various items.
