There has been a water main break at the corner of Warsaw Road and Taft Hwy. Crews are working on restoring water service. You may experience a loss of pressure or no water at all during this repair.

Warsaw Road to 800 block

Repairs have been made to a section of 8″ cast iron pipe. Crews are flushing the system and you may notice fire hydrants close to the break flowing for the next few minutes.
Crews have restored water service to the area. Since this leak was at the end of an existing line and caused by a failure of only a cap installed around 1998, we don’t believe any foreign contaminants were introduced into the water system during this outage, however as a precaution we are issuing a “Boil Water Advisory” for all customers on the west side of the I-75 interstate.

We will send water sample to the lab for testing. We expect the results to be back within the next 48 hours. When the results come back we will post the results here and lift the boil water advisory unless additional flushing needs to take place.
