Resolutions

Resolutions are a less formal mechanism for dealing with matters of a special or temporary character. A resolution is simply an expression of the opinion, will or policy of the legislative body on some matter of ministerial business which has come before the body.  Resolutions require no particular format or adoption requirements. They are usually passed by a voice vote and have no binding effect. Resolutions are often used to honor individuals, state a formal position on a matter, authorize a study which will be used for later legislative action, or approve a bid or contract.

These Resolutions appear in order most recently passed.
